Ongoing comedy classes held most Wednesdays at 6:30PM. In this class one can expect to learn about stage presence, joke construction, joke formulas as well as in-depth comedy writing techniques and tips on how to get booked for comedy and acting gigs across the country. This class is designed for people wanting to learn stand-up comedy, people who just want to be funny at home, socially or at work and for current comedians looking to strengthen their acts. Comedy Rumble: Gilbert Edition at JP’s Comedy Club

The most fast-paced, high-energy stand-up competition in America is coming to Arizona! Comedy Rumble brings together a lineup of comics who each get just a few precious minutes to prove themselves, and the audience decides who stays in the fight. It’s comedy meets dojo discipline: sharp, focused, and no wasted time.

Here’s how it works:

• Round One: 8 comics each perform 1 minute of their best material. The audience votes, and the top 4 advance.

• Round Two: The remaining 4 comics each perform 3 minutes, and the audience narrows it down to the final 2.

• Round Three: The finalists each perform 5 minutes, competing for the title of Comedy Rumble Closer.

• Finale: The winner earns a 10-minute closing set to end the night in style.

It’s rapid-fire, unpredictable, and built with the audience at the center—you decide who advances, who thrives, and who takes home the title.
