Ongoing comedy classes held most Saturdays at 2PM. In this class one can expect to learn about stage presence, joke construction, joke formulas as well as in-depth comedy writing techniques and tips on how to get booked for comedy and acting gigs across the country. This class is designed for people wanting to learn stand-up comedy, people who just want to be funny at home, socially or at work and for current comedians looking to strengthen their acts. JPs Comedy Club presents- T Dot Terrance “T Dot” Kingsby, a funny and familiar face in this competitive industry. A Milwaukee native born and raised. T Dot served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and became a veteran of the war in Iraq. He was honorably discharged and decided that his new mission in life is to make people laugh. Comedian T Dot Kingsby was established in November of 2007. After a night of bombing material, T Dot returned to the drawing board to tighten his act. T Dot always states that the bombing that night got him to where he is today as a comic.

Comedy Showcase and Contest- Local Comics compete for a Headlining Spot!

Dyen For Laughs presents Comics Unlimited, a show where anything goes.  This show will feature headliner, Vargus Mason!!! The media first dubbed “THE HUMAN CARTOON” as a finalist for the 2002 San Francisco Comedy Competition.  Since then, he’s expanded his highly physical movements and arsenal of animated voices to make you wet your pants. His humor has been seen on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, Comics Unleashed & Entertainers with Byron Allen, BET’s Comic-View and VH1.  Vargus was Comedy Central’s online red-carpet host for the Celebrity Roast of Flavor Flav. His Human Cartoon Nickname must have been prophetic, as you can currently hear Vargus on the Disney Lion King revamp series the “Lion Guard” as Cheezi the Hyena, Doc McStuffins, Sophia the First, Hanazuki for Titmouse and is a contract VO artist for Nickelodeon Animation Studios.  Catch him on Netflix’s Inside Job, Pinky Malinky and We Lost Our Human. Vargus takes a great deal of pride performing abroad for the military, having traveled to nearly 40 countries as an entertainer for the U.S. Troops.  If you can’t catch Vargus on television or on tour, he can be seen at various LA playgrounds getting his butt kicked by two daughters. The show also features Jack Shaw (Kill Tony), Crickette Gill (Laugh After Dark), The Cop Comic Jim Perry, and Saskia Bee.
